Our data promise
What happens to your information when you apply, in plain words. The formal version is the Privacy Policy; this page is the promise behind it.
Funders cannot contact you until you say so
We never shop your contact information around. No funder gets your name, your phone number, or your email until you pick that funder and tell us in writing to send your file. Until then, a funder sees a summary of your business with no way to reach you. If a funder can only quote with your full file, we tell you first and send nothing without your written OK. Once you choose a funder and we send your file, that funder handles your information under its own privacy practices, which can include contacting you directly.
Why it matters: a shopped file is how merchants end up on call list after call list. Yours is shopped without your name on it.
Never sold, never rented, never on a list
We never sell your information, and we do not add you to marketing lists. We do not rent applicant data to data brokers or share it for advertising. This site does not currently set advertising pixels or analytics cookies. Your application is used to broker the funding you asked us to seek, and for nothing else.
Follow-up is bounded, and stop means stop
You will not be dropped into a marketing sequence. A member of our team replies by email, usually within two business days. If we do not hear back we follow up at most twice more, then leave the door open without further emails. Ask us to stop at any time by emailing mike@tridentfundingsolutions.com, and we stop.
Stored carefully, deleted on request
Your submission and documents are stored on Google Cloud services, delivered to the Trident team by email, and seen only by the people reviewing your application and the service providers that store and deliver them for us. You can ask us to delete your application and documents at any time by emailing mike@tridentfundingsolutions.com. The details, including how long we keep things, are in the Privacy Policy.
Why we work this way
Our bet is that education and honest screening make better matches: a merchant who understands total repayment, and a file routed to partners suited to it, close more often and regret it less. We do not publish approval odds or funded-ratio numbers, because we will only ever publish those measured from our own funnel, and we would rather show you the math than a statistic. If we ever publish such numbers, they will carry their source.
If we ever fall short
These promises are written into our internal operating policy, and we hold this site's copy to them. If you believe we have broken one, email mike@tridentfundingsolutions.com and it goes to the top of the queue.
